Teen Wolf - Fireflies.(S03E03)

I can honestly say I am absolutely loving the new season of Teen Wolf so far. I have to be honest, when the show started I was watching it only for the sake of having something to watch, but over the years it has really grown on me. I was extremely surprised when season 3 came out to see the show growing up with the cast. It no longer has that light, shallow, teen vibe. It's darker, much more intense and there's an incredible amount of depth in the characters, and I guess it doesn't hurt that the cast got better looking. haha (ALL THE TOPLESS MEN!)

Watching this episode was incredibly intense, and I loved every minute of it. The look and the feel of this episode was incredible! The episode being set at night made some very suspenseful moments in a couple of the scenes, but not as suspenseful as the opening scene, with the two little kids catching fireflies before Boyd tries to hunt them. Only after a few minutes of making these adorable kids fear for their life, does Scott save them. The remainder of the episode revolves around trying to catch the two werewolves rampaging all over town. We see almost all the characters working together in this episode and it's really nice, what made it even better was bringing Chris Argent back (He's awesome!).

As the episode goes on things just get even more intense, even for Lydia and Stiles. We still haven't figured out what's linking Lydia to all of this but I think I have a few theories (might keep it to myself for now, though). By the end of the show we see Derek on the ground after ripping apart Boyd and Cora and I just...(WHY?! THAT WAS HIS SISTER!).

We then see Derek helping Miss Blake up from the little corner she was hiding in and to be honest (NO!) what are the writers getting at here? (You know they're making her important to the show in some way/potential love interest or something) Yes, yes I know a show needs love interests but...I'm just not really feeling this one. I'll give her a chance I guess...

The show ends with yet another mystery and more reason to watch the show, as Stiles mentions something about human sacrifices. Now, I don't know what it is, but I'm really liking this new and improved Teen Wolf. THIS is what I want to see in a supernatural tv show. The horror element they have gone with this season is amazing and I can't wait for the next episode.
